Before introducing our remodeling services, we would like to talk a little about the location. If you are considering moving to Newport Beach , there are a few items of interest to know.
The Upper Bay of Newport is a canyon, which was carved by a stream in the Pleistocene period. The lower bay of Newport was formed much later by sand that was brought along by ocean currents, which constructed the offshore beach that is now recognized as the Balboa Peninsula of Newport Beach. Newport Harbor once supported maritime industries such as Boat building, ship building and commercial fishing but today it is used mostly for recreation. Its shores are occupied mostly by private homes and private docks. With approximately 9,000 boats, Newport Harbor is one of the largest recreational boat harbors on the U.S. west coast. If you would like to learn more about this area please visit the city of Newport Beach website.
And of course Chris Riggins Construction is here to help you with your home improvements. Our primary services consist of kitchen remodeling and bathroom remodeling. And we also can help you with living room remodeling, bedroom remodeling, room additions and large scale remodels.
The above photo is of a Newport Beach home remodel that we did with a beach theme. Newport’s history is engrained with boating and seamanship, so beach and nautical themes are common place in the homes here.
