Our Unique Approach
Our Design-Build Remodeling Process
At Chris Riggins Construction Inc, our accomplished design-build team has decades of combined experience with design-build remodeling projects. Whether you’re in the market for a custom home, whole home remodel, or a kitchen/bath project, our designers and builders have the skills and experience needed to bring the vision for your dream home to life.
What to expect throughout the phases of your remodeling project:
- The Planning and Design Phase.
After our initial no-cost consultation, we will identify the goals, learn more about your budget, and discuss how we can bring your unique vision for the remodeling project to life. After we enter into the design agreement (which will include a visit to the site of your remodel), we will review the specifications for your project and perform any necessary field measurements. During this phase of the design process, we may also make return trips on an as-needed basis.
Once you have approved all the relevant documents, we prepare and submit our proposal to complete construction based upon the design proposal. During this time, we will also prepare and submit any necessary documents to your city’s governing bodies for plan check, approval and permit issuance.
- The Construction Phase
Immediately after, or concurrent with plan approval, we will sign the building contract and set up an initial meeting for you to meet with your project manager, our design-build team and our founder, Chris Riggins.
Our high-touch approach to design-build remodeling leverages the latest technology to make sure you’re always in the loop on everything related to your project, like progress reports, upcoming milestones, and any updates to the remodeling schedule.
- The Post-Construction Phase
Upon completion of your remodeling project, we will conduct a walk-through and ensure you are comfortable operating any new equipment we may have installed during the project. During this time, we will also provide you with any relevant warranty information.
